Second Nature explores the exhaustion of constantly performing beauty. Objects associated with femininity like mirrors, bags, shoes — are recreated in clay and transformed into heavy, irregular, almost living forms. As moss-like surfaces and organic textures interrupt their polished appearance, the objects abandon their original function and begin to reveal a nature of their own
