About

An interdisciplinary artist working across installation, object making, ceramics, and photography.

Anastasia Fainberg (b. 1995, Moscow)

Currently lives and works in Limassol, Cyprus

Anastasia Fainberg’s practice emerges from the experience of living within systems that feel increasingly unstable, exhausting, and difficult to sustain. Her work turns toward matter and nature not as forms of escape, but as forces capable of adaptation and resistance.

Through ceramics, objects, and photography, Fainberg creates forms that shift, deform, accumulate, and appear almost alive. Resisting fixed functions and stable identities, they suggest other ways of existing: responsive, persistent, and difficult to contain.
